Rene Zabel (she/her) holds a BFA in Psychology from University of Arizona Global Campus. She uses her degree in Psychology and her love of folklore and mythology frequently in writing her plays, such as Evil Therapy, A Rare Case, and Deirdre: A Musical Legend. Her solo musical, When the Silence Sings, was a finalist in the Rave Theater Festival in 2020 and the 2019 Producer’s Perspective: Producer’s Pick. She was selected for the Kennedy Playwriting Intensive for 2022.
Rene is a member of the Dramatist Guild and Experts Theater Company.
Jenna Cox-Hadley grew up in a mixed-race family in South Florida and majored in mathematics at the United States Naval Academy and Wheaton College. She has since lived in Central Asia, Turkey, and Germany, studying languages and different forms of music and dance. She synthesizes her diverse background and new skills into creative compositions and stories. She has produced a reading of her original musical, Wait for Her, through Davenport Theatricals, and a workshop in Ankara, Turkey. She has composed music for a series of children’s audiobooks and is writing music for other collaborations, including Deirdre of the Sorrows with Rene Zabel.
